Free will might be an illusion because many of our choices are influenced by things like our environment or past experiences. We may think we're in control, but other factors often shape what we do.

I agree that the concept of free will is an illusion. We don’t have much control over the world, with all the things that happen around us, behind us, and ahead of us—events we have no control over. It’s idealistic to think that we have control over our will, choices and actions....
